I’ve spent more than five decades in insurance, business, sales, and management, beginning my insurance career in 1968. Over the years, my work has taken me across the United States and internationally, giving me a broad perspective on business, financial decisions, and, most importantly, the importance of building lasting relationships.
I returned to the insurance industry in 2009 after seeing the growing need for knowledgeable, personal guidance around Medicare and retirement planning. I became an independent broker so I could compare options from multiple insurance companies and help clients find coverage that fits their needs, priorities, and budget.
Today, my goal is simple: to make Medicare easier to understand and to be a trusted resource for my clients—not just when they are choosing a plan, but whenever questions or changes arise. After more than five decades in business, I believe the most important part of what I do is helping people make confident decisions about their healthcare and financial future.

I know what it feels like to be the patient. I know what it feels like to be the caregiver. And I know how important it is to have someone you trust when healthcare decisions become complicated. In 2013, I experienced this firsthand when I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Because I had comprehensive medical coverage, I was able to focus on healing rather than worrying about how I would pay for the care I needed. That experience changed the way I viewed healthcare and inspired me to help others better understand the insurance decisions that can become so important when life takes an unexpected turn.
After my recovery, I earned my California health insurance license and became one of the first 5,000 agents to enroll members through the Affordable Care Act. Since then, my work has expanded to Medicare. With decades of hands-on caregiving experience, I also understand the emotional and practical challenges that serious illness, aging, memory care, and end-of-life decisions can bring to individuals and families. I bring that perspective to my work, helping clients understand their coverage options and make choices that reflect their individual needs and priorities.
That same perspective shapes my interest in the future of healthcare, where Precision Medicine and personalized healthcare are opening new possibilities for more individualized treatment. I actively follow developments in genetic testing and data-driven insights that have the potential to reduce guesswork and provide greater clarity in treatment decisions. My goal is simple: to bring clarity to complicated healthcare decisions and give people greater confidence in the coverage they choose—especially when they need it most.
